This year, Upper Iowa University presented a $100,000 Upper Iowa Business Development (UIBD) grant to Rumor Prom & Bridal owner Cathy Langel.

Langel, a 2004 alumna of UIU and former staff member, is completing renovations to a 100-plus-year-old building in downtown Fayette, Iowa, as part of the UIBD program to support new and expanding businesses in Fayette.

UIU is featuring Langel and her new endeavor with a full-length feature article in the next issue of The Bridge.
