So…we’re back and it was an incredible adventure. Now…to share with the world…what did you get out of traveling to Haiti?
I’m writing this at 4:36 PM on Saturday, April 28. ELEVEN days from right now we will be in Haiti.
Please share your current thoughts….on what you have been reading and research and learning in the class…and how that impacts what you anticipate experiencing 11 days from now.
Don’t freak…once you click submit, your comments go into a “pending” queue and you will get an “error” message. From there, Katrina or I have to approve them. This is to prevent ridiculous amounts of spam from showing up.

Each of you should write up an answer to this question. 500 words minimum.
Here you will post a short autobiography. Share about your personal background as well as your educational background and aspirations (including…what’s your major and what are you planning to do after graduation).
This is the 3rd consecutive year for a UIU travel course to Haiti. We continue to work with Partners in Development (PID), an organization that has helped with economic development in Haiti since 1990. PID follows a holistic approach to development, using a medical clinic, child sponsorships, microloans for business start-ups, and home construction and financing. More information on PID can be found at www.pidonline.org.
We welcome and thank everyone for their support of this ongoing endeavor.
